Introduction of Veda
“Veda” means vidya (science), complete education (material & spiritual), dharma (agama dharma & sanatana dharma) or the truth (relative truth or the cause & effect theory and the absolute truth or ultimate truth). Any thing against vidya is “avidya” (nescience). All agama dharma (religions) are based on Veda. There are no religious, nationality or language barriers for Veda.
Ultimate goal of the human life is to attain the eternal blissful sky after cessation of material existence (Nirvana). To fulfill that purpose, the only way is spiritual realization. The best way for spiritual realization is practicing bhakti-yoga after detached from the sense gratification. Self realization is the first step in spiritual realization and the Absolute Truth realization is the ultimate goal of human life. Human life is the best time to learn this, and study the science of self realization is the manava dharma.
The science of self realization is to be learned under the guidance of self realized spiritual teacher. If any one fortunate enough to learn this, please contact Dr. K. Gunaratne for free consultation and study the authoritative Vedic books. These books are available in forty three languages including English, Hindi, Tamil and Sinhalese languages.
